Walmart Points

I just finished that mystery novel you recommended last week. I have to say the twist at the end really caught me off guard. I thought I had it figured out by chapter three but the author completely fooled me. The pacing was a bit slow in the middle but the last fifty pages made up for it. I stayed up way too late finishing it last night. I think you would enjoy the way the characters were developed especially the detective. Have you read any of this author's other work? I might pick up another one if you think they are just as good. Let me know what you thought about the ending I want to discuss it more when we meet up this weekend. I also started that other book you mentioned and so far it is pretty interesting. The writing style is quite different from what I usually read but I am trying to branch out more this year. Anyway thanks for the recommendation let me know your thoughts.

I finally got around to repainting that old bookshelf I found at the flea market. I decided to go with a dark green color and I think it turned out really well. The prep work took longer than I expected because I had to sand down all the rough spots and apply primer first. I used chalk paint and sealed it with wax which gave it a nice matte finish. I am thinking about adding some new hardware to the drawers to give it a more modern look. My cat keeps trying to climb on it while the paint is still drying which is stressful. I moved it into the living room and it fits perfectly in the corner next to the window. I am going to organize my books by color once everything is fully set up. Let me know if you want me to send you some photos. I found the inspiration on a home decor blog and adapted it to match my space. I might try a similar project with a smaller piece next.
