MyLowe's Rewards

se4e7wnkyf5s

Yeah I finally got around to trying that new trail you mentioned last month. The weather was perfect on Saturday morning not too hot with a nice breeze coming through the pines. I think we started around 7 and finished just before noon. The elevation gain was pretty steady but nothing too crazy. There was this one lookout point about halfway up where you could see the whole valley. I brought my camera along and got some decent shots especially of the wildflowers that are starting to bloom. The trail was a bit crowded coming back down but that's expected for a weekend. I'll send you a couple of the photos later. I was surprised at how well the trail was maintained actually. Some of the boardwalks had been replaced since the last time I was out there. The creek crossings were all manageable too even after the rain we had earlier in the week. We stopped for lunch at the summit picnic area and just sat there for about an hour taking it all in. I'm already thinking about going back next month maybe try a different loop next time. iEZfUqAnyyiXvPO I think you would really enjoy this one if you ever have a free weekend to come along.

Honestly I wasn't sure about that book when you first recommended it but I'm glad I stuck with it. The first few chapters felt slow but once I got past the setup I couldn't put it down. The way the author describes the main character's thought process felt really authentic. I found myself highlighting quite a few passages especially the dialogue between the two leads. The pacing picks up around chapter seven and from there it's a pretty fast read. I finished it in about three evenings which is quick for me. The ending caught me off guard I won't spoil it but I did not see that coming. There are some themes in there that reminded me of that other novel we read last year but the approach is completely different. I think you were right that it works better as an audiobook because the narrator apparently does different voices for each character. I might do a reread eventually or at least listen to the podcast interview with the author that you mentioned. Have you started the sequel yet or are you waiting until closer to when the next one comes out. I've been thinking about that twist for days now and still can't get over how cleverly it was woven into the earlier chapters without being obvious.
