Walmart Rewards

I was thinking about what you mentioned regarding the garden beds last week. I finally checked the soil in the corner near the fence and it seems pretty balanced honestly. The drainage there is much better than I expected so I think we could put those perennials in without too much trouble. I picked up a small bag of compost just to be safe and I think if we mix it in about a week before planting everything should settle nicely. Let me know if you want to come by Saturday morning and take a look at the space together. I can grab a few extra samples from the nursery if you want to see what catches your eye. Anyway no rush just thought I would share what I found out there.

I ran into Chris at the bookstore yesterday and he mentioned you were on the lookout for a good side dish recipe for the family gathering next month. I have that one from the cooking workshop we did a while back the one with the roasted squash and the maple tahini dressing. Everyone always asks for the recipe whenever I bring it anywhere. I can forward it to you if you want to give it a try. Also Chris said the bookstore is doing a special sale on cookbooks this weekend if you feel like browsing for something new to page through. Let me know if you want me to send that recipe over and maybe we can plan a test run together before the big dinner.
