Ace Rewards

Yeah, I finally got around to organizing the garage last weekend and it feels so much better now. I found some old sports equipment that I forgot we even had, plus a bunch of holiday decorations that were buried in the back. The shelf system I put up made a huge difference and now everything has a proper place. My partner was really happy about it because they could actually park their car inside again without dodging boxes. I still need to sort through a few bins but the hard part is done. ucAZPbMKdK We might need to get some smaller containers for the hardware bits and pieces that are still loose in a drawer, but that's a project for another weekend. The best part was finding that old photo album from our trip to the mountains a few years back, we ended up sitting on the floor flipping through it for an hour instead of actually cleaning.

I tried that new pasta recipe you sent me last night and it was really good, though I made a couple of tweaks because I didn't have all the ingredients. I used sun-dried tomatoes instead of fresh and added a bit of basil at the end. The sauce came out a little thicker than I expected but it still worked well. We had it with a simple side salad and some crusty bread I picked up from the bakery down the street. My daughter asked for seconds which is always a win in our house. I'll definitely make it again but maybe I'll double the garlic next time because you can never have too much. Let me know if you have any other recipes you're loving lately, I'm trying to cook more at home and I need to expand my rotation beyond the same five dishes I always make.
