I think the trail you mentioned sounds like a great option for Saturday. I checked the weather and it should be clear in the morning. We should aim to start around 7am to beat the heat. I can bring snacks and plenty of water. The loop is about 6 miles which should take us around 3 to 4 hours with breaks. There is a nice spot near the ridge where we can stop and rest. Let me know if you want to meet at the parking lot or if you want to carpool from my place. I have room for three more people. Also I can bring my camping stove if anyone wants coffee at the top. I will pack some trail mix and granola bars as well. The forecast looks favorable so I am optimistic we will have good conditions for the hike.

I also wanted to mention that the trailhead has a small parking area so arriving early should help us get a spot. If it fills up there is overflow parking about a quarter mile down the road. I have a map saved on my phone so we will not have any trouble navigating. Let me know what time works best for you.

OMAHA STEAKS

Selected cuts, delivered to your door.

Gourmet Steak Sampler Program

A selection of hand-selected cuts, provided at no charge to participants.

As part of this program, 500 gourmet steak boxes are being made available. Each box, typically valued over $600, is provided at no charge to those who receive this notice. One sampler per household, with the offer concluding Tomorrow.

See what is included

Each cut in this collection is hand-selected and flash-frozen to maintain its character. This approach helps preserve the texture and flavor of each piece, ensuring a quality experience for those who participate.

Inside Your Box

4 Filet Mignons

4 Ribeyes

4 New York Strips

6 Top Sirloins

Box quantities are determined by program allocation. One sampler per household.

Thank you for reviewing this program.

I looked into the soil mix you recommended and it seems like a good option for the raised beds. I think I will go with a combination of compost and peat moss like you suggested. The tomato plants should go in next week if the weather stays warm. I am starting with a few pepper plants as well. I found a good source for organic mulch at the garden center on Main Street. They have a special on cedar chips this week. I plan to set up a drip irrigation system to make watering easier. If you have any tips on trellising the cucumbers I would appreciate it. I also want to try growing some basil and rosemary alongside the vegetables. The raised beds get plenty of sun throughout the day which should work well for most of these plants.

I will prepare the soil this weekend and get everything laid out before planting. Let me know if you have any advice on spacing for the peppers.
