I think I finally settled on a good playlist for our road trip next month. I started with some classic rock but then realized we'd need stuff that both of us can sing along to without getting tired of it after two hours. I added about thirty tracks so far and I'm trying to keep the energy up without it being too overwhelming. Let me know if you have any must-add songs because I want to make sure we have enough variety for the long stretches. I also found this old mix from a few years ago that had a bunch of songs we used to play at barbecues and it brought back a lot of good memories. I might just build the whole thing around that energy honestly. Anyway send me your list when you get a chance.

Hey thanks for asking about the garden project. I ended up going with raised beds this year because the soil in the backyard is just too compacted to grow anything decent. I built three frames out of cedar and filled them with a mix of compost and topsoil. So far I've planted tomatoes peppers and basil on one side and I'm trying cucumbers and zucchini on the other. The whole thing took me about two weekends to finish but honestly the hardest part was leveling the ground underneath. I also added a drip irrigation system on a timer so I don't have to remember to water every day. My neighbor gave me some marigold seeds to plant around the edges because he said they help keep pests away. I have no idea if that actually works but they look nice so I figured why not. If you want to come over and see it just text me and I'll show you what I did. It's nothing fancy but it's been a fun project and I'm already planning what to add next spring.
