Yeah I finally watched that documentary you recommended. Took me a while to get through it because I kept pausing to look things up. The section about the migration patterns was really fascinating though. I had no idea they traveled that far each season. Made me think about all the small routines we take for granted. Anyway I finished it last night and I can see why you thought of me. The cinematography alone was worth the time. Let me know if you come across anything else like that. I'm always looking for good recommendations especially when they make you stop and think. Oh and I tried that coffee shop you mentioned near the park. Their cold brew is seriously good. Might become my new weekend spot lezGHplZHTOAqdm We should go together sometime if you're free. Also I finally organized my bookshelf over the weekend and found that novel I borrowed from you last year. I'll return it next time we meet up. Sorry it took so long.

I've been trying to learn how to bake bread from scratch and it's been quite the experiment. The first few loaves were pretty dense and flat but I think I'm finally getting the hang of it. The trick seems to be letting the dough rest long enough and not rushing the proofing stage. I made a sourdough starter that's been going for about two weeks now and it's finally showing some real activity. There's something really satisfying about the whole process even when things don't turn out perfectly. My kitchen counter is permanently dusted with flour at this point. I found a beginner recipe online that breaks it down really simply and that helped a lot. Next weekend I want to try adding some herbs and see how that goes. If you have any tips I'd love to hear them because I'm still learning as I go. The smell of fresh bread baking is hard to beat honestly. Makes the whole house feel cozy and welcoming. I've been giving away loaves to neighbors just to share the results.
