I think you're right about taking it slow at first. The last time I jumped into something without checking the schedule first, I ended up overwhelmed and dropped out after two weeks. Starting with one session a week seems much more doable, especially with everything else going on. I've heard good things about the group that meets near the library on Tuesday evenings. A friend of mine goes regularly and says the people are really welcoming and they don't pressure anyone to commit to more than they want. You could just go once and see how it feels. If you like it, great. If not, there are other options too. Let me know if you want me to ask my friend for more details about what they actually do during the meetings. I think you'd enjoy the casual atmosphere and the low-key vibe they keep every week. jmfzgZEmd33244 It's really not about being the best at anything, just showing up and being around others who share the same interest. That alone makes it worth trying at least once. No pressure, no expectations beyond just seeing if it clicks for you.

Let me know what you decide. I can tag along the first time if you want some company. I've been meaning to check it out myself anyway.

We finally got around to watching that series you recommended last month and honestly we loved it way more than expected. The first episode was a little slow but once we got past the setup, the pacing picked up and the characters started to feel really real. My favorite part was the third season when they introduced the new setting. I know you said the ending was controversial but we thought it wrapped things up nicely. Have you seen anything else like it? We're looking for something to start next week and I'd love another recommendation that's in the same ballpark. We tried watching that other show you mentioned but couldn't get into the first episode. Maybe we need to give it another chance. Let me know what you think. I know you have great taste in this kind of thing so I trust your judgment. Also, we started that hobby class I told you about and it's been really fun so far. The instructor is patient and the group is small, which makes it easy to ask questions. You should come with me next session if you're free on Thursdays.
