Yeah I think that sounds like a really good plan actually. The weather has been pretty nice lately so it would be a shame to just stay inside all weekend. I was looking at that trail you mentioned and the photos are stunning. There's a small cafe near the start that does really good sandwiches from what I read. We could pack some snacks too just in case. Let me know what time works for you and I can drive since my car is already pretty clean and has plenty of room. I think if we leave early we can avoid the worst of the crowd and have the place mostly to ourselves. I heard the wildflowers are starting to bloom which would be nice to see. I'll bring my camera and maybe a lightweight jacket just in case it gets chilly in the afternoon. Let me know if you want to invite anyone else or keep it small.

I checked the forecast and it looks clear for most of the day with just a few clouds in the afternoon. That should make for some nice photos especially around the lake area. I remember you said you wanted to test out your new hiking boots so this would be a good chance to break them in properly. We can take it easy and stop whenever we feel like it. No need to rush through the whole thing.

I finally got around to repotting that plant you gave me last month and I think it's already looking happier. The roots had started to circle the bottom so it was definitely time. I used that soil mix you recommended with the extra perlite and it drains really well. I also moved it to a spot that gets more indirect light in the afternoon and the leaves seem perkier already. I might try propagating a few cuttings soon if it keeps growing well. Your other plant tips have been super helpful too. The watering schedule you suggested made a big difference. I was definitely overwatering before. Anyway I just wanted to thank you again for the advice and the plant. It's become one of my favorite things in the apartment. The little ceramic pot I found at the flea market matches it perfectly with its soft blue glaze.

I'm thinking about getting a second one for the bedroom maybe a snake plant since those are supposedly hard to kill. Let me know if you have any recommendations for varieties that do well in lower light conditions. I've been reading that some varieties can actually improve air quality quite a bit which would be a nice bonus.
