Hey, just got your message about the get-together next week. I've been meaning to ask if you wanted to try out that new hiking trail on Saturday. The weather forecast looks pretty decent for a change, so it might be a good day to be outside. We can pack a lunch and make it a full afternoon thing. Let me know what you think and if you need me to bring anything extra. I was also thinking about inviting a couple of other friends if that's okay with you. They've been asking about exploring that area too. Anyway, let me know how your schedule looks. Hope we can make it work! I also finally started reading that sci-fi novel you recommended last month. At first I was a bit skeptical because I'm not usually into that genre, but it really pulls you in. The world-building is incredible and the characters feel very real. I'm about halfway through now and can't wait to see how it ends. I'll bring it on Saturday so we can chat about it. Also, don't forget to bring your camping gear if the weather holds up. We could maybe do an overnight trip sometime next month.

Regarding your question about the book club meeting, I think we should stick with the original plan for the first few chapters. It gives everyone a chance to catch up without feeling rushed. I know a couple of people are still finishing the introduction. By the way, I tried that new bakery downtown you were talking about. Their sourdough is fantastic, and they have this amazing olive bread that reminds me of the one we had on our trip last summer. You should definitely stop by if you get a chance. I grabbed a few pastries for the next meeting. Let me know if you need me to pick up anything else for the group. I can also send out a reminder email to everyone if you think that would help. I also wanted to ask if you have any recommendations for a good coffee blend. I've been experimenting with different roasts lately and I'm looking for something with a bold flavor but not too acidic. The local shop had a limited batch from Colombia that was pretty good, but I'm always curious to hear what others enjoy.
