Yeah I think the Boulder Creek trail is the one we should do this weekend. It is about 6 miles round trip with a moderate elevation gain so it should take us around 3 to 4 hours depending on how many breaks we take. The trailhead is right off Highway 9 near the ranger station. If we leave by 7 AM we can beat the afternoon crowds and the parking situation should be much easier. I checked the weather and it looks like it will be clear in the morning with some clouds rolling in by late afternoon so we should be fine timing wise. Make sure to bring at least two liters of water per person and some snacks for the summit. The views from the top are supposed to be incredible this time of year with the wildflowers in bloom. I can drive if you want just send me your address and I will pick you up around 6:30 AM. Let me know if that works for you.

We appreciate you taking the time to review this offer.

The tomatoes are doing really well this season actually. I went with a mix of Roma and cherry varieties and they have been producing steadily since early July. The key for me has been watering at the base rather than overhead to avoid leaf mold and I am using a simple drip irrigation system on a timer. I also added a layer of straw mulch around the base which has helped keep the soil moisture consistent and reduced weed growth significantly. For fertilizer I have been using a balanced organic blend every two weeks and that seems to be working well. The peppers on the other hand have been a bit slower this year probably because we had that cooler stretch in June. They are starting to come around now though with the warmer weather we have been having. If you want to start a garden next season I would be happy to help you plan it out and share some tips on soil preparation and plant spacing.
