Oh, I totally forgot to tell you about the trail we hiked last weekend. It was absolutely gorgeous but way more challenging than the guide suggested. We started at the base camp around 7 AM. The first two miles were a steady climb through a dense pine forest. The air was so crisp and clean. Around the third mile, we hit a clearing with the most incredible view of the valley. We sat there for about 20 minutes just taking it all in. ApRV1h8RXtCHcGY The last mile to the summit was really rocky and steep, definitely needed both hands for scrambling. A couple of parts were a bit sketchy, but totally worth it for the 360-degree view at the top. We had lunch up there and headed down. My legs are still sore three days later, honestly. Can't wait for the next one though!

Thank you for being a valued Kroger customer.

I finally got around to organizing my home office this weekend and it feels like a completely different room in here. I started by pulling everything out of the drawers and sorting them into piles: keep, donate, trash. You wouldn't believe how many random cables and chargers I found that don't fit anything we own anymore. I recycled a bunch of old electronics and paperwork too. The big purchase was a new desk lamp with adjustable brightness and color temperature, which makes a huge difference for video calls. I also mounted the monitor on an arm to free up desk space. It took the better part of Saturday to get everything how I wanted it, but now I actually look forward to sitting down to work. Next project is tackling the garage, but I might need to wait until the weather cools down a bit.
