I was looking at those photos you sent from the weekend trip. The views from the ridge looked incredible even through the phone screen. I've been meaning to ask which trail you ended up taking because we tried a different route last month and it was way more overgrown than expected. We ended up cutting the hike short because my brother twisted his ankle on a loose rock. Nothing serious but it killed the momentum. I think if we go again we should start earlier in the morning vV6Kah7hb5 before the sun gets too intense and the parking situation gets crowded. The lot was completely full by the time we got back down. Anyway let me know if you want to plan something for next month maybe a different location entirely. I heard the state park on the north side has some well-maintained paths that are easier on the joints and they have a nice picnic area near the entrance. I packed way too little water last time so I'll be better prepared with my hydration pack and some electrolyte tablets. The weather forecast looks promising for the next few weekends so we should take advantage while it lasts.

I finally tried that recipe you sent me and it turned out even better than I expected. I was a little skeptical about the combination of flavors but everything came together really nicely. I swapped out one of the ingredients because I couldn't find it at the store and it still worked perfectly. The preparation took longer than I anticipated mostly because I was being careful with the timing. I think next time I'll prep everything beforehand so the process flows more smoothly. The leftovers reheated well too which is always a bonus in my book. I served it with a simple side salad and some crusty bread and it made for a satisfying meal. If you have any other recommendations from that website I'm happy to try them. I've been trying to expand my cooking repertoire beyond the usual rotation of dishes. The instructions were clear and easy to follow which made the whole experience enjoyable rather than stressful. I'll definitely be adding this to my regular rotation. Thanks again for sharing.
