oh I totally forgot to send you that recipe we talked about last week. it's the one with the roasted vegetables and the tahini dressing. honestly it's so forgiving you can swap whatever veggies you have sitting in the fridge. I made it with sweet potatoes and broccoli and it turned out really well. let me know if you want me to type it out properly. also I finally got around to watching that documentary you mentioned and I have so many thoughts about the pacing of the second act. anyway hope you're having a good week and we should catch up properly soon. I've been meaning to ask about your garden project and whether the tomatoes are actually growing this time. eZfDHFcNIez53K my neighbor said I should try growing basil next to them to keep the pests away so I might give that a shot. also the hiking trail we did last month still has me thinking about that view at the top. definitely want to go back before the weather turns. alright talk soon.

hey I was just thinking about that conversation we had about starting a small herb garden on the balcony. I finally went ahead and got a few pots and some soil this weekend and planted basil mint and chives. they're already sprouting which is surprising because I usually kill plants pretty fast. I think the key is not overwatering them which is definitely my tendency. my friend said to just water them when the soil feels dry an inch down so I'm trying to follow that rule. also that podcast you recommended about urban gardening has been super helpful I'm about halfway through it. I never realized how much you can grow in small spaces with the right setup. anyway let me know if you want me to send you some pictures of the setup I went with. also have you tried growing anything from seeds versus starter plants I'm curious which route works better. alright hope your week is going well.
