Hey, I finally tried that maple granola recipe you sent over the weekend. It turned out really well — I used toasted pecans instead of almonds and added a pinch of cardamom. The whole house smelled amazing while it baked. Let me know if you want me to send you the adjusted measurements. I also swapped out the coconut oil for ghee and it gave it a deeper, almost buttery flavor. My kids ate it by the handful straight from the cooling tray. I think next time I will double the batch and stash some in the freezer for busy mornings. Thanks again for the suggestion — it is officially in regular rotation now. Also, I found these really nice glass jars at the thrift store that work perfectly for storing granola. They seal tight and look pretty on the counter. Anyway, just wanted to share how much we loved it. Hope you are having a good week. QhdafI8VB0 Let me know if you come across any other recipes like that — I am always looking for something new to try on Sunday mornings. We have been trying to cook more from scratch and this was such a satisfying win.

Hey, that documentary you mentioned last week was really fascinating. I finally watched it last night and could not stop thinking about the segment on old growth forests and how they regenerate after fire. It made me want to plan a trip out to the Pacific Northwest sometime this fall. I have been reading a few books on mycology lately and apparently some of the oldest fungal networks in the world are under those trees. The cinematography was stunning too — those aerial shots of the fog rolling over the canopy were unreal. I also loved how they interviewed the local ecologists who have been studying one single watershed for over forty years. It gave the whole film this quiet, patient rhythm that felt rare for nature documentaries. QhdafI8VB0 Anyway, I wanted to thank you for recommending it. I would not have found it on my own. If you have any other suggestions along those lines I would love to hear them. I have been trying to watch more slow, thoughtful films lately and this one really hit the mark. Hope you are doing well and we can catch up soon.
