Yeah I finally tried that pasta recipe you sent me last week. It turned out pretty well actually—the sauce was richer than I expected. I think I let it simmer a bit too long but that just made the flavors blend more. hKbUP0WUgIHUP I used penne instead of the spaghetti you recommended because that's what I had in the pantry. Next time I'll add a bit more garlic because you can never have too much. The fresh basil really made a difference though. I'll definitely make it again. Thanks for sharing it with me. Oh and I paired it with a simple side salad with lemon vinaigrette which balanced it nicely. Let me know if you tweak anything when you make it again. I think adding a pinch of red pepper flake would give it a nice kick.

Hey I watched that documentary you mentioned the other night. It was really interesting—I did not expect the ending at all. The cinematography was beautiful too. I have been thinking about it for days now. Let me know if you have any other recommendations like that. I am on a roll with watching things lately and I love finding new stuff to check out. I also started reading that book you gave me last month and I am already halfway through. The pacing is great and the characters feel really real. I will let you know when I finish it. Have you started anything new yourself? I would love to swap notes when we both have time.
