Yeah I think the ridge trail at Mount Rainier would be a good choice for Saturday. The weather forecast looks promising with clear skies predicted for most of the day. We should start early though around 6 AM to avoid the midday heat and get parking before it fills up. The loop is about 8 miles with moderate elevation gain so it should take us roughly 4 to 5 hours with breaks. Make sure to bring at least two liters of water per person and some snacks. I can drive if you want to meet at my place around 5:30 and we can grab coffee on the way out. Let me know if that timing works for you or if you need to adjust. Also I wanted to mention that there is a shorter option if anyone in the group prefers a less strenuous route. The lower meadow trail only goes about 3 miles and offers great views without the climb. We could split up and meet at the summit picnic area around noon. Just a thought to keep everyone comfortable and happy with the plan.

OMAHA STEAKS
Premium cuts, thoughtfully selected and flash‑frozen at peak freshness.

Gourmet Sampler Collection

A hand‑selected assortment of premium steaks, available through this program.

Five hundred gourmet boxes are being allocated for this program, with a limit of one sampler per household. Those who participate will receive the box at no charge. This offer concludes tomorrow.

See What’s Included

This gourmet sampler features hand‑selected cuts that are flash‑frozen to preserve their taste and tenderness. Each box, which holds a value over $600, is provided at no charge to those who take part in this program. You will not be billed for the sampler.

Inside Your Box

4 New York Strips

4 Filet Mignons

4 Ribeyes

6 Top Sirloins

Quantities are determined by program allocation. One sampler per household.

We appreciate your time in considering this program.

I think planting the tomatoes in raised beds would give you better drainage than putting them directly in the ground. The soil warms up faster in raised beds which helps with early growth. You will want to space them about 24 inches apart to allow for proper air circulation. Staking or caging them early is important too because once they start fruiting the branches can get heavy and snap. I would also recommend adding a layer of mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Let me know if you want to come by this weekend and see how I set up my beds last spring. I found that using a soaker hose underneath the mulch keeps the water where it is needed most and reduces evaporation. Also if you want to start from seed instead of transplants I have some variety suggestions that do well in our area.
