Oh man, I totally forgot to tell you about that new bakery that opened up on Elm Street. I stopped by on Saturday morning and the line was out the door. I almost left, but I'm glad I didn't. The croissants are incredibly flaky and buttery, exactly how they should be. They have this sourdough loaf that tastes amazing toasted with just a little butter. I also tried a lavender latte, which sounded weird but was actually really refreshing. The place has a nice vibe too, with lots of plants and natural light. It reminded me of that cafe we visited in Portland last year. Anyway, we should definitely go there together next time you're in town. I know how much you love a good pastry.

So I finally started watching that documentary series everyone is talking about. I was skeptical at first because the premise sounded a bit slow, but I got completely hooked after the first episode. The cinematography is stunning, and the storytelling is really gripping. I ended up binge-watching four episodes in one sitting. I won't spoil anything, but there is a plot twist in the second episode that I genuinely did not see coming. My only complaint is that some of the side characters feel a bit underdeveloped. Overall, though, it is definitely worth the hype. Let me know if you want to borrow my login info to check it out. I think you'd really enjoy it.
