Yeah, the drywall mudding process is really about patience and thin coats. I learned that the hard way after trying to glob it on thick thinking it would save time. You want to apply the joint compound in thin layers, letting each one dry completely before sanding and applying the next. For the tape, embedding it fully without wrinkles takes some practice but you can use a 6-inch knife to press it in firmly. The corner beads need to be nailed or screwed in straight before you start mudding over them. For the final coat, I find that adding a little water to the compound to thin it out slightly helps get that smooth finish. After sanding, wipe the walls down with a damp cloth to remove the dust before priming. Primer is essential because bare drywall will soak up paint unevenly otherwise. I usually let the primer dry for a full day before painting just to be safe.

One other tip I forgot to mention is to use a bright work light held at an angle against the wall while sanding. That way you see every imperfection before you prime instead of discovering them after painting.

Tomatoes really need consistent watering more than anything else. If you let them dry out and then soak them, the fruit will split. I use drip irrigation on a timer set to water every other day for about 20 minutes depending on the heat. The other thing is pruning the suckers that grow between the main stem and the branches. You don't need to remove all of them but keeping the plant to 2 or 3 main stems helps the fruit get more energy. I also put down a layer of straw mulch around the base to keep the soil moisture even and prevent splash back onto the lower leaves. For fertilizer, I use a balanced one at planting time and then switch to a lower nitrogen formula once they start flowering to encourage more fruit production.

Also, staking or caging them early is important because once they get big and heavy it is much harder to do without breaking branches. I prefer the wire cages over wooden stakes because they provide support on all sides without having to tie each branch individually.
