Yes, I think the best path would be to take the loop trail rather than the steep climb. The weather forecast is calling for clouds in the afternoon, and we can still get a good view from the ridge without pushing ourselves too hard. I already checked the park map; the loop is about 4 miles and should take us around two and a half hours at a moderate pace. We can pack sandwiches and eat at the waterfall spot near the halfway point. Let me know if you want to invite anyone else — I think Sarah mentioned she was free on Saturday, but I haven't asked yet. Also, I’ll bring extra water and sunscreen just in case. The trailhead parking lot fills up early, so I suggest we meet at 7:30 at my place and leave by 8. We can grab coffee on the way. If you prefer an earlier start, we can adjust. Let me know what you think.

I’ve been looking at the schedule for the volunteer cleanup event next month. There’s a morning shift from 8 until noon and an afternoon one from 1 to 5. I think we should take the morning shift so we can still have the rest of the day free. The coordinator said they’ll provide gloves and bags, but we should bring our own water and wear sturdy shoes. There’s a meeting point at the main entrance; they’ll hand out maps of the areas we need to cover. Also, they mentioned there’s a picnic planned after the second shift if you want to stay later. Let me know if you’re in — I can sign us up online. I think it’s a good way to give back to the park we use so often. We can carpool from my place again.
