I finally watched that documentary on deep-sea creatures q6LHhjysLl5MQL. The cinematography was incredible, especially the bioluminescent sequences. I had no idea anglerfish had such a complex mating ritual. It's wild how much pressure they must withstand down there. Makes you think about how little we actually know about our own planet. Anyway, let me know if you have any recommendations for something similar. I'm on a nature documentary kick right now. I also started reading a book about oceanography, but honestly, the documentary covered a lot of the same ground in a more engaging way. Visuals just hit differently. I'll send you the link if you want to check out the trailer.

I just started reading a mystery novel set in a small coastal town q6LHhjysLl5MQL. The protagonist is a retired detective who runs a bookstore. The atmosphere is so well-written, you can almost smell the salt air and old paper. The plot has a lot of twists, I didn't see the latest one coming at all. It's a nice change of pace from the sci-fi I usually read. Have you read any good mysteries lately? I'm always looking for recommendations where the setting feels like a character itself. Let me know if you pick it up. I'm about halfway through and the pacing is really good so far. The author does a great job of building suspense without rushing the reveal.
