We looked into the timing for the community garden project and I think mid-April works best for getting the beds prepared. The soil should be workable by then if we have a stretch of dry days. I spoke with the nursery and they can hold the seedlings until we are ready. They suggested starting with tomatoes and peppers since those take a bit longer to mature. We will also need to coordinate with the building manager about water access near the plot. I can draft a simple schedule for planting and watering shifts if that helps. Let me know what you think about the April timeline and whether we should aim for a Saturday morning kickoff. I can bring extra tools and some compost to get the beds amended ahead of planting. We should probably also put together a short list of what each person wants to grow so we can order seeds accordingly.

I checked the calendar and the 15th works well for the book club discussion. I finished the novel last week and found the second half much stronger than the beginning. The character development really picked up once they reached the coastal town. I have a few passages marked that I think would spark good conversation. Regarding refreshments, I can bring a cheese board and some fruit. Sarah mentioned she would handle beverages. Should we plan for the usual 7pm start or shift to 6:30 so we have more time? Also if anyone wants to suggest a title for next month please bring a couple of ideas. I will send a reminder a few days before. Let me know if the date works on your end.
