Yeah I finally got around to trying that new Thai place downtown. The pad thai was decent but honestly the green curry was the standout dish. I'd definitely go back for that. The service was a bit slow but the atmosphere made up for it. We sat outside on the patio and it was perfect weather. Let me know if you want to go sometime. I think they do lunch specials too which are probably cheaper. Anyway that's my review. Nothing fancy but solid food. Oh and the spring rolls were crispy and fresh. The peanut sauce was house-made I think. Pretty good all around. I also ordered the mango sticky rice for dessert and it was a nice sweet finish. Not too heavy just right. The whole meal came to about thirty dollars per person which felt reasonable for the quality. I'd rate it a solid four out of five. Let me know if you end up going.

I've been meaning to ask if you've seen that new documentary on the streaming service. It's about the history of video game music and it's really well done. I watched it last night and it brought back so many memories of playing old games. The interviews with composers were fascinating. They talked about working with limited technology and still creating memorable melodies. I had no idea some of those classic tunes were made with just a few channels of sound. It's amazing what they accomplished. If you're into music or games at all I think you'd enjoy it. The production quality was high and the pacing kept me engaged the whole time. I learned a lot about the early days of sound design in gaming. They featured several iconic composers whose names I recognized from the credits of games I played as a kid. It made me want to go back and replay some of those titles just to hear the soundtracks again. Definitely worth a watch if you have two hours to spare. Let me know what you think if you check it out.
