I'm so glad you asked about that. I spent the whole weekend organizing my bookshelves and it turned into such a bigger project than I expected. I found this old photo album I thought I'd lost years ago. It was filled with pictures from our trip to the national park. I stayed up way too late going through everything and reminiscing. The next morning I regretted it because I was exhausted but it was totally worth it. I also ended up rearranging all the furniture in my living room and now it feels like a completely different space. Much more open and inviting. I moved the reading chair by the window and it gets the most beautiful light in the afternoon. I think I'll spend even more time in there now. Oh and I finally found a way to organize my collection of vintage postcards. I put them in a shadow box frame and hung it on the wall. It looks like a piece of art now.

Honestly I didn't expect to get so much done. I was just going to dust the shelves and suddenly it was eight hours later and I had rearranged everything. The best part was rediscovering books I had completely forgotten about. I already started rereading one of them and it feels like visiting an old friend. I think I need to do this more often.

Thank you for being a valued Walmart member.

Thanks for the recommendation. I started listening to that podcast series about deep sea exploration and I cannot stop. The episode about the creatures that live near hydrothermal vents was absolutely mind-blowing. I had no idea there were entire ecosystems thriving in complete darkness under extreme pressure. The way they described the giant tube worms and bioluminescent jellyfish made me feel like I was watching a nature documentary. I listened to three episodes back to back during my commute yesterday and almost missed my stop. The narrator has such a calming voice too which helps with all the complex science. I also love how they interview actual researchers and play audio clips from their expeditions. It makes everything feel so immediate and real. My favorite part so far was the story about the team that discovered a new species of octopus. Can you believe they found it just casually hanging out near a volcanic vent like it was no big deal.

I'm already halfway through the series and I'm trying to pace myself so I don't run out of episodes too quickly. It's rare to find a podcast that is both deeply informative and genuinely entertaining. Let me know if you have any other recommendations in a similar vein. I trust your taste after this one.
