Yeah I finally made it out to that trail you recommended last weekend. The weather was perfect, not too hot and the views from the top were worth every step. We started around 7am to beat the crowds and had the summit almost to ourselves for about an hour. I brought along those granola bars you like and they were a lifesaver halfway up. The wildflowers are just starting to bloom so the whole hillside was covered in purple and yellow patches. Definitely planning to go back next month with Pik2M7aa6A8W77 a few friends who want to try the longer loop. Thanks again for the suggestion, it turned out to be exactly what I needed after the busy week. Let me know if you want to join next time.

I also stopped by that cafe near the trailhead on the way back and grabbed one of their cold brews. It was surprisingly good for such a small place. The barista mentioned they roast their own beans which explains the rich flavor. Might become a regular stop whenever I head out that direction.

I finally signed up for that pottery class I've been talking about for months. First session was last night and honestly I was terrible at it but had so much fun. The clay kept collapsing on the wheel and I ended up with this lopsided mess that the instructor said might work as a pencil holder if I'm lucky. There were only six of us in the class so we got plenty of one-on-one help. The studio has this really calming vibe with soft music and the smell of wet earth. I think I'll start getting the hang of it after a few more sessions. The instructor says most people don't produce anything recognizable until at least the fourth class so I don't feel too bad about my lumpy creation.

A few of us went out for tea afterward and one woman showed us photos of pieces she made after a full semester. They were genuinely beautiful, which felt both inspiring and slightly intimidating. She said the key is just showing up every week and not judging your early attempts too harshly. Good advice for pretty much anything I suppose.
