I totally get what you mean about the clay soil. We had the same issue in our backyard. It took a few seasons of amending it with compost and sand to get it to drain properly. I planted lavender and rosemary last spring and they absolutely love it. You just have to work with it, not against it, you know? Let me know if you want me to send you that article about building raised beds. It was a fun weekend project and the tomatoes were amazing. I'm planning to expand the garden next year, 3OnmQKzo3Nb maybe add a small water feature. The birds have been loving the bath we installed. Anyway, I found this amazing vintage chair at a flea market and I'm thinking of reupholstering it. We'll see how that goes. Talk soon!

Oh, I saw that documentary you recommended! 3OnmQKzo3Nb It was incredibly well done. The cinematography was stunning, especially the scenes shot in the mountains. I had no idea about the history of that region. It really makes you think about how interconnected everything is. We started a new book club at the library, and our first pick is a sci-fi novel about time travel. It's a bit confusing but really engaging. The discussion last night got pretty heated about the ending. You should join us next month, I think you'd really like the book. Also, I finally finished organizing my workshop. It only took me about three weekends, but now I can actually find my tools. Feels good. I'm also planning a hiking trip for the fall, maybe up to the Smokies. Let me know if you're interested in joining. Should be a great time.
