The raised beds along the southern fence would work best for tomatoes and peppers since that area gets the most sun throughout the day. The soil drains well there and I know you wanted to try heirloom varieties this season. For herbs, keeping them close to the shed makes harvesting simple when you are preparing meals. A drip irrigation system on a timer would keep everything watered without much daily effort. I have extra tomato cages you can borrow. The compost bin should go in the back corner where it stays accessible but out of sight. Let me know if you would like help setting up the beds next weekend. We can also talk about adding a small seating area near the pear tree.

Omaha
Steaks

Hand-selected cuts, prepared with care.

A Gourmet Selection, Prepared with Care

Omaha Steaks is offering a curated sampler of hand-selected cuts to participants.

Five hundred gourmet boxes are available through this program. Each sampler, typically valued over $600, is provided at no charge to those who receive it. One sampler per household, and this offer concludes Tomorrow.

See what is included

Every cut is hand-selected and flash-frozen to preserve exceptional flavor. This process ensures each steak arrives in prime condition, ready to be prepared and enjoyed.

Inside Your Box

4 Filet Mignons

4 Ribeyes

4 New York Strips

6 Top Sirloins

Quantities are determined by program allocation. One sampler box per household.

Thank you for taking a moment to review this offering.

Meeting every three weeks tends to work better than monthly because the pace stays active without being overwhelming. Thursday evenings had the most availability based on the last poll. Mixing fiction and non-fiction selections would keep discussions varied and engaging. The rotating host format worked well previously so continuing that makes sense. People enjoyed thematic snacks when they tied into the book. I can set up a shared document where everyone can suggest titles for the next few months and we can vote on them together. That should give us a good plan going forward for the reading schedule.
