I totally get what you mean about the timing. We had the same thing happen last month when we tried to coordinate everyone. It felt like we were playing email tag for a week just to settle on a date. Honestly, I think the best approach is to just pick a window and go with it. That is what we did for the beach trip last year and it worked out fine. A few people couldn't make it but most were able to rearrange things. The key is giving people enough of a heads up so they can swap shifts or move appointments around. And honestly if someone really wants to be there they will find a way. I learned that lesson the hard way after overthinking every possible conflict. Now I just send out a group note with two or three options and let people vote. It saves so much back and forth. Also if you can loop in the close friends first that helps too because they usually help spread the word. Anyway that is my two cents. If you want help drafting the note just say the word. I am happy to take a look at it. And seriously don't stress about the people who are slow to respond. They always come through in the end. Oh and by the way I finally tried that thing you suggested HSqazHtJzcAAS1 and it actually worked better than I expected. I was skeptical at first but now I am a convert. We should catch up properly soon.

Oh yeah I completely forgot about that project we talked about. Honestly I ended up going a different direction with the layout after I started sketching things out. The original plan felt too cramped once I actually put pen to paper. So I shifted the main element to the left side and moved the secondary content underneath. It reads much better now. I also swapped out the color palette entirely. I was going with something muted but then a friend suggested trying a warmer tone and it really opened up the whole feel. I am glad I tried it because now the whole thing has more energy without being loud. The client liked it too so that is a win. I still need to finalize the typography though. I am torn between a serif for the headings and sticking with a clean sans all the way through. Usually I lean toward the mixing approach but for this particular project keeping it consistent might be the smarter call. I am going to sleep on it and decide tomorrow. Anyway thanks for checking in. I will send you the updated version once I wrap it up. Let me know if you want to see the early draft. I value your eye for detail and you always catch things I overlook. I appreciate having someone to bounce ideas off of. It makes the process a lot less lonely and way more fun.
