I was just thinking about what you mentioned regarding the book club schedule. It makes sense to shift meetings to Tuesday evenings since most people have conflicts on Wednesdays. I know a few members were worried about the change OsNDWZZx3y but I think once we explain the reasoning they will come around. The new format with rotating discussion leaders should keep things fresh and give everyone a chance to contribute. I can help coordinate the first few sessions if you need an extra hand. Just let me know what the next steps are and I will send out the updated calendar to the group. Also I wanted to ask if you have any preference on which book we start with for the new cycle. There were several great suggestions at the last meeting and I think we should pick something that appeals to both the longtime members and the newer folks who just joined. Let me know your thoughts whenever you get a chance.

I finally got around to looking at those trail maps you sent over last week. The route you highlighted through the ridge section looks amazing and I think it would be a great challenge for our group. The elevation gain is moderate but the views at the summit would be worth the effort. I checked the weather forecast for the weekend we were planning and it looks like conditions should be favorable. I will bring extra gear in case anyone forgets their layers. Also I wanted to ask if we should carpool from the usual meeting spot or if everyone prefers to drive separately this time. Let me know what works best for you and I will send out a final plan a couple of days before. I am really looking forward to getting out on the trail again after that long break we had over the winter months. The fresh air and exercise will do us all some good.
