Yeah, I finally tried that coffee shop on Elm Street you told me about. The lavender latte was surprisingly good, not too sweet. They also have a nice outdoor seating area in the back, though it was a bit crowded for a Tuesday morning. I grabbed a pastry too, the almond croissant, which was flaky and fresh. I think you would really like it there. We should plan a visit together next week when you are free. Let me know what you think! Also, I found this really cool bookshop around the corner that sells vintage prints. I picked up a couple of old maps for framing. The owner said they get new shipments every Saturday. I almost grabbed a vintage travel poster of Paris but decided to wait. Anyway, just wanted to share my little find. Hope you are having a good week so far! The weather has been perfect for reading outside, so I have been spending more time in the park lately.

I finally set up that home server I was talking about. Used an old laptop I had lying around and installed Ubuntu Server on it. The initial configuration was a bit tricky because of the router settings, but once I got the port forwarding figured out, it was smooth sailing. I primarily use it to host a small website and a file sync solution similar to Dropbox. It is surprisingly quiet and does not use much power. I am planning to add a few more hard drives to it for backups. It is a fun project if you have some old hardware collecting dust. Let me know if you want to try it out. I can send you a link to a guide that I followed. It was pretty straightforward for the most part. I also configured a remote access feature so I can manage it from anywhere. It took a while to understand the security settings, but it was worth it.
