Hey! Yeah, I finally made it out to that trail you mentioned. It was in great shape, mostly dry with just a few muddy patches near the creek crossing. I ended up taking my trail runners instead of the hiking boots, and that was the right call. The elevation gain was steady but not too punishing, and the views at the top were totally worth it. I saw a few other groups but it wasn't crowded at all. I stopped for a snack at the overlook and just enjoyed the silence for a bit. Next time I might try the loop going counterclockwise to hit the technical section earlier. Anyway, thanks for the tip. Let me know if you want to head out there together sometime. I think you'd really enjoy it.

I finished that book you were asking about. It took me a while to get into the first few chapters because the world-building is pretty dense, but once the plot kicked in, I couldn't put it down. The characters are surprisingly well-developed for a sci-fi novel, and the main twist caught me completely off guard. I think you'd really enjoy it if you're into stories that mix philosophical questions with good action sequences. There were a few sections that dragged a little in the middle, but overall it was a really solid read. I stayed up way too late a couple of nights finishing it. Let me know if you decide to pick it up, I'd love to hear your take on the ending.
