Hey, guess what my golden retriever did yesterday? I've been trying to teach her 'play dead' for weeks, and she finally got it. Well, sort of. She does this dramatic sideways flop and then peeks one eye open to see if I'm watching. If I don't clap immediately, she huffs and walks away. It's hilarious. She's usually so energetic, but she'll do anything for a treat, even pretend to be a statue for a few seconds. I tried to get it on video, but of course, as soon as the phone comes out, she stares at me like I'm crazy. Anyway, just had to share that little win. Hope you're having a good week! Let me know when you want to grab that coffee. I'm free qzz8w1wZAyoT most afternoons.

I finally finished that sci-fi novel you recommended last month, the one about the generation ship. Honestly, the first hundred pages were a bit slow setting up the political factions, but once they discovered the alien signal from the nearby nebula, I could not put it down. The way the author described the ship's AI developing a quirky personality was brilliant. It reminded me a bit of the robot from that old movie we watched. There's a twist at the end involving the mission's true purpose that I genuinely didn't see coming. I won't spoil it, but it makes you rethink everything that came before it. Highly recommend sticking with it if you haven't already. Let's talk about it over lunch whenever your schedule clears up!
