We looked at the soil composition report you sent last week. The pH readings around 6.8 are promising for what you described. For the raised beds, I would suggest adding a layer of aged compost about two inches deep before planting. That should give the root systems enough nutrients through the early growth phase. The variety you mentioned should do well with consistent watering every three days unless there is significant rainfall. I have a drip irrigation setup I can share the specs for if you decide to go that route. Let me know what you think about the layout. I can also help map out the row spacing if you send me the approximate bed dimensions. I will be working on my own beds this weekend and can take photos of the trellis design I mentioned.

Omaha Steaks has allocated 500 gourmet sampler boxes for this program. Participants are not billed for the sampler — the full cost is covered by the program for those who receive it. Each cut is hand-selected and flash-frozen at peak freshness to preserve texture and flavor. This allocation is limited to one sampler per household.

Every piece in the box is chosen by experienced butchers and frozen immediately to lock in the quality you expect from Omaha Steaks. The total retail value of each box exceeds $600, but through this program it is provided at no charge to qualifying participants.

Inside your box

4 Filet Mignons

4 New York Strips

4 Ribeyes

6 Top Sirloins

Quantities are determined by program allocation. Each box contains the cuts listed above.

Thank you for your interest in this offering from Omaha Steaks.

This program is subject to allocation availability. One sampler per household. Offer ends Tomorrow.

Regarding your question about the hiking route for next month. I have done the northern loop twice now and can offer a few suggestions. The trail markers along the ridge are well maintained but there is one section near the creek crossing where you need to watch for loose stones. I would recommend starting early to avoid the afternoon sun on the exposed parts. There is a good spot about three miles in where you can refill water bottles. The elevation gain is steady rather than steep which makes it manageable for most groups. I have a map marked with rest points I can share. Let me know if you want to coordinate gear for the trip.
