The ridge trail sounds like the better choice for Saturday given the forecast. Round trip is about 6 miles with roughly 800 feet of elevation gain so it is manageable for most people. Starting by 7am would help us avoid the afternoon heat and give us plenty of time to enjoy the summit. I can bring snacks and water for the group. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes because there are some rocky sections near the top. The view from the summit should be excellent this time of year with clear skies expected. Let me know if you want to meet at the usual parking area or if you prefer a different meeting point. We could grab lunch afterward at that cafe near the trailhead if the timing works out.

I checked the trail conditions online and they look good with no recent closures reported. I will bring a first aid kit and extra layers just in case the wind picks up. Let me know if anyone else is joining so I can plan accordingly.

Thank you for taking a moment to review this program.

The raised bed setup worked well last season so I plan to expand it this year. I am thinking of adding two more beds on the south side where the sunlight is strongest. Tomatoes and peppers did really well last year but I want to try growing cucumbers and zucchini this time around. I will need to amend the soil with compost before planting. The local nursery should have starts available by mid-spring. I might also try some companion planting with basil and marigolds to help with pests naturally.

I have been reading up on crop rotation and soil health to keep things productive without using synthetic fertilizers. Let me know if you want to come by and see the setup before the season starts. I could also use a hand with building the new frames if you are available that weekend.
