I have been meaning to ask you about the garden project you mentioned last week. I think starting with the raised beds near the south fence makes sense because that area gets the most afternoon sun. The soil there drains pretty well too so we should not have to worry about root rot. I picked up some starter compost from the local nursery and it looks great. Let me know if you want to come over this weekend to help lay out the frames. I also found a really helpful guide online about companion planting that explains which vegetables grow best together. The whole thing is more straightforward than I expected once you break it down into phases. Anyway I am excited to get started and see how things grow. H1etnlIg4spKVvn Let me know what you think about the layout plan and whether Saturday works for you.

I finally got around to trying that new coffee shop on the corner of Elm and 3rd. The atmosphere is really cozy with exposed brick and warm lighting. I ordered a pour-over and a blueberry scone and both were excellent. The barista recommended their cold brew which apparently sells out by noon most days. I think I will go back this weekend to try their seasonal latte. The place was busy but not uncomfortably crowded and there were plenty of seats near the window. If you are free on Saturday morning we should go together. I know you prefer quieter spots and the back section seemed pretty calm. Let me know if you are interested and I can scope out the weekend crowd ahead of time.
