Yeah I think the way we structured the kickoff meeting made a real difference. Everyone had a chance to speak early so nobody felt like they were just listening to a plan that had already been decided. MwHoZwevrmfie mentioned we should leave room for mid-cycle adjustments and that turned out to be smart because we ended up shifting priorities when the first round of user feedback came back. We used a simple shared doc to keep track of action items and it saved us from a lot of back-and-forth emails. The team seemed more engaged when they could see their contributions reflected in the updates. I would probably keep the same rhythm next time but maybe shorten the weekly syncs to 25 minutes so they stay tight. Overall it felt like people appreciated the structure without feeling micromanaged.

I finally took a weekend to rearrange the workshop and it made such a difference. Having a dedicated bench area and better lighting changed how I approach projects now. I moved the tool pegboard closer to the work surface so everything is within reach without having to step away. The organization alone saves me at least fifteen minutes each session because I am not hunting for the right wrench or screwdriver. I also added a small magnetic strip for the bits and driver tips which keeps them visible and sorted. It feels good to walk in and see everything in its place. I wish I had done this months ago because it makes the whole process more enjoyable and less frustrating when you are in the middle of something and need to switch tools quickly.
