the trail we talked about works great for Saturday morning the elevation is moderate and the views are supposed to be incredible this time of year we should start around 7 AM to beat the heat and the crowds bring plenty of water and some snacks for when we stop at the summit the loop is about 6 miles total so plan for 3 to 4 hours with breaks there is a creek about halfway where we can refill water bottles if you want to carpool from my place that works since it is on the way I have a map with all the trail markers and points of interest marked the parking lot fills up early on weekends so starting early is definitely the way to go the weather looks clear and mild with temps in the upper 70s so it should be a great day for it I will bring the first aid kit and a small repair kit just in case we need anything on the trail

I tried the pasta recipe you shared and it worked really well the key was letting the sauce simmer for at least 30 minutes to develop the flavors I added extra garlic and that made a big difference the fresh basil from the garden really elevated the dish I used a good quality dried spaghetti and cooked it just under al dente before finishing it in the sauce with some pasta water next time I might add grilled chicken or shrimp it was a great meal to prep on Sunday and have leftovers during the week the recipe was easy to follow and didn't need any special equipment the whole thing came together in about 45 minutes which works well for a weeknight dinner option I would definitely recommend giving it a try if you like homemade pasta dishes the ingredients are all simple and easy to find at any grocery store so it is a convenient option for a quick dinner that still feels special
