I think starting from the north trailhead makes more sense given where ever=
yone is coming from. The parking lot there is larger and tends to fill up l=
ater so we should have space. You asked about the difficulty level and I wo=
uld say it is moderate with a few steady inclines but nothing too steep. Th=
e view from the ridge is worth the effort especially in the morning light. =
We can take a break at the overlook around the midpoint. I will bring the t=
rail map and a small first aid kit just in case. Let me know if anyone need=
s to borrow gear because I have extra poles and a day pack. The weather sho=
uld cooperate based on what I saw this morning. We can adjust the pace as w=
e go and stop for photos if people want. The trail has some shaded sections=
which helps on warmer days. I will confirm with everyone the day before.

Thank you for reviewing this offering from Omaha Steaks.

I think the best approach for the soil is to add compost a few weeks before=
planting so it has time to settle. You were asking about drainage and I wo=
uld suggest mixing in some coarse sand if the area tends to hold water afte=
r rain. The raised bed option works well if you want better control over th=
e soil composition. I use a simple mix of garden soil compost and perlite f=
or most vegetables. The depth needs to be at least eight inches for root cr=
ops. I can help you build the frame next weekend if you decide to go that r=
oute. The spot near the fence gets good afternoon light which should work f=
or tomatoes and peppers. I will send you the list of varieties that have do=
ne well in my garden. Let me know if you want to start seeds indoors or wai=
t until the weather warms up.
